Meet the Staff
Cheryl Allman
Executive & Clinical Director
Cheryl was the previous Director of Counseling and Programs at Homes of Hope. Cheryl completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Walla Walla University in 2016. After six years as a clinician, Cheryl was hired in July 2022 to enhance support services at Homes of Hope. Cheryl facilitates our monthly support group, coordinates Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) training and teaches parenting classes based on TBRI® principles.
Her role as the Executive & Clinical Director includes administration of volunteers, caregiver and foster child events, training and fundraising.
Cheryl is a PNW native, living in WA, OR and ID all of her life. She and her husband raised two sons in the LC Valley. Cheryl is passionate about coming alongside children, youth, and families to assist during difficult times in their journey. Two fun facts about Cheryl, 1) Cheryl is a Star Wars nerd, and 2) She loves to knit, crochet and do crafts.

Sandra Collins
Office Manager & Assistant to Executive Director
Sandra joins Homes of Hope from Real Life on the Palouse where she was the Administrator for four years. Prior to that, she worked mainly in City and County Government in financial and administrative roles. Sandra is from the United Kingdom, becoming an American Citizen in 2005. She has been married for over 32 years with three grown children and six grandchildren. Sandra deeply believes in the work Homes of Hope carries out, and looks forward to contributing her skills and support.

Kalyssa Phillips
Fundraiser & Event Coordinator
Kalyssa joins Homes of Hope as she is finishing her degree at the University of Idaho in Agricultural Business and Economics. She recently got married in 2024 and in her free time you can often find her listening to podcasts, dreaming up new business ideas, or spending quality one on one time with her husband or friends.
She has a love for small businesses and for entrepreneurship that she hopes to use to bless foster and adoptive families through Homes of Hope.
Kalyssa is excited to bring new energy to the inspiring work Homes of Hope is already accomplishing in Idaho and Washington.
